Covered Walkway & Parking
Covered Walkway & Parking
Colorado Springs, Colorado | Senior Living Facility
280 Feet of Shelter, Built From Scratch
At a senior living facility, the walk from a parked car to the front door matters. In Colorado Springs, that walk can mean snow, ice, hail, or hard afternoon sun. Residents, families, and staff make it every day. Crush is building covered structures over the parking areas and along the main walkway, so their trip is protected.
What we're doing
Covering the parking. We're installing three metal structures over the facility's parking areas, laid out to the site plan. Together, they cover more than 4,200 square feet. That gives cars, and the people getting in and out of them, a roof overhead.
Building the walkway cover. The walkway cover runs 280 feet, and we're designing it to fit this property. Before anything is fabricated, our team measures the site in person and confirms the final design with the owner, so the structure follows the walkway's real dimensions and elevation changes. From there, we fabricate the steel and install it ourselves.
Owning it from start to finish. Crush is handling the design, the fabrication, the materials, the labor, and the equipment. One team carries this scope from the first measurement to the last bolt.
Why it matters
For older residents, slick pavement and harsh weather are more than an inconvenience. They're a safety risk. A covered path cuts down on exposure every time someone arrives, leaves, or steps out for an appointment. It also protects vehicles from the hail and sun that Colorado is known for.
